Changing tile size resets the project. Every Wang PNG must equal half the selected full tile size.

Composition options mask-0 & blob coupling

Mask-0 Outer Shell

On: the isolated tile (mask 0 / output 01) is built from the four outer corners — a fully enclosed box. Off: solid OUT fill (four outside Wangs).

Blob → Wang

On: uploading or ripping a blob master splits it back into Wang PIMs (current behavior). Off: the blob master is stored as a standalone tile and does not feed the Wangs.

Auto-rotate/reflect per wang group

outer corners (O-TL → O-TR/BL/BR) inner corners (I-TL → I-TR/BL/BR) edges (E-N → E-E/S/W)

When enabled, uploading or painting one tile in a group automatically generates the rotated variants. Uncheck to paint each direction manually.

Tileset ripper extract from existing sheet

Load a tileset, then click a wang tool button below the grid, then click on the tileset to extract that region. The grid shows wang quarter size.

PNG sheets clean exports

PNG downloads contain only pixels. UI labels, checkerboards and mask overlays are excluded.

The project file stores one shared RGBA palette and palette-index maps for all 14 Wang tiles.

Paste a grid of tile numbers (00–47, comma or space separated, one sheet row per line). Duplicates and 00 gaps are allowed; grid shape sets the sheet shape. The 47-tile grid above always keeps the default 01–47,00 order — this sheet follows the layout below.

PIM inspector palette indices

Each number is an index into the shared RGBA palette. Transparent pixels use the transparent palette entry, not a special sentinel.

Diagonal bits are retained only when both adjacent cardinal neighbors exist. Normalizing all 256 masks produces the canonical 47.
